L'oracle d'Eros by Géraldine Bindi is a French oracle of 44 cards, each devoted to an archetype connected to sexuality and desire.
Think of figures like the lover, the seducer, the libertine, the beast. All voices that play a role in our lives, whether we want them to or not. This oracle is made for those who want to examine their own sexuality and desires independently and honestly.
The imagery is the work of Sirblondin (Sébastien Tonin), photographer and visual artist. His photography is sensual and sometimes confrontational. Eros does not appear as sweet or innocent, but as something that can be powerful, tender, frightening and playful all at once.
Each of the 44 cards represents a psychological archetype connected to human sexuality. The archetypes are inspired by mythology and depth psychology, but are made concrete and recognizable here. The oracle asks you not to push away the aspects you would rather avoid, but to consider them as allies.
This oracle is aimed at people who want to independently explore their erotic potential and desires. The 150-page guidebook, entirely in French, provides an explanation of the corresponding archetype for each card.

Géraldine Bindi is a writer and olfactotherapist from Lyon. She works in diverse genres: comic scripts, novellas, articles and games. Her interest lies in psychology, the unconscious and the complexity of the human being.
The idea for this oracle arose, she says, because Eros insisted on being heard: he no longer wanted to be misunderstood for what he truly is.
Sirblondin, pseudonym of Sébastien Tonin, describes himself as a 'photographist'. He previously created the visual world for oracles such as Les Chemins de Qumran, Il s'appelait and La Conscience de Gaïa.
Can I use this deck without speaking French?
You can use the card images without text, but the complete 150-page guidebook is in French. For a full understanding of the archetypes, reading French is necessary.
How does this differ from other love oracles?
Most love oracles focus on romantic situations or relationship themes. This deck works with psychological archetypes of sexuality itself, inspired by the primal force of Eros. It does not ask 'will I find someone', but 'which aspects of my own desire do I know, and which do I ignore'. That makes it heavier and more personal in content.
