Oracle of the Hekatean Path - 60 cards on crossroads, magic and transformation
Hekate stands at the edge of what is coming. She holds the torch that guides you through transition, whether that means a life choice, a ritual or a moment when you release old patterns.
This oracle deck brings her many facets into view: protector of thresholds, guide in the underworld, mistress of moon magic. The sixty cards are large (88 x 125 mm), which gives room to the detailed symbolism. Artist Christopher Butler, known for Quantum Tarot and Healing Light Tarot, draws her with a style that is direct and powerful. Kenn Payne writes the guidebook from his years of work with Hekate within the Covenant of Hekate.
What you see on the cards
The images refer to the myths surrounding Hekate. The torch, the key, the serpent, the hound, crossroads in the dark. The cards focus on concrete themes: making choices, asking for protection, doing shadow work, using cyclical energy.
The larger format means you can study the symbolism closely during meditation or reflection. The colours are dark and rich, with plenty of night blue, black and purple.
How you work with it
The guidebook explains each aspect of Hekate as it appears in the deck. You will find spreads and explanations of the symbolism. Many people draw a card at the new moon, when Hekate is traditionally most present.
The deck does not require prior knowledge of Hekate, but those familiar with her mythology will recognise the references immediately. The texts in the guidebook are accessible and offer both basic concepts and deeper layers.
Draw a card at the dark moon when you wish to release something or ask for protection for a new beginning. Hekate's energy works strongly in that phase.
