Stacey Williams-Ng has spent years studying gravestone symbolism and translates it into illustrations you can use directly. No gothic atmosphere for the sake of it, but a functional system based on historical meanings. The weeping willow, the broken column, the lamb: each symbol carried a specific message in 19th-century mourning culture.
