Sacred Vision Oracle Cards - prayers and paintings from Native American traditions
Some oracle sets give you a card with a concept and leave the rest to you. This deck gives you a prayer. A full text you can read, speak aloud, or simply let function as a prayer.
The Sacred Vision Oracle Cards are created by Lynn V. Andrews, who has written for decades about Native American spirituality and her own path as a student of indigenous teachers. The artwork is by Robert Taylor, a Native American artist whose work is characterized by a realistic approach with symbolism drawn from his own traditions.
What you see on the cards
The front shows a painting. Often an animal, a landscape, or a scene in which a person stands in relation to nature. The colors are intense and the style realistic.
The back contains a prayer, written by Andrews. These prayers are not abstract. They speak directly to what you as a reader may need: strength, rest, clarity, courage.
The cards are large, 95 by 140 mm, and matte finished. You can read them without turning them over and they feel sturdy enough for daily use.
What this deck focuses on
This is not a tarot deck with fixed positions or symbolism you need to learn. It is a set of 29 prayers with accompanying images. The focus lies on spiritual connection with nature and with your own inner truth.
The texts are aimed at restoring balance. Many cards speak about respect for the earth, for animals, for the cycle of seasons. Others address personal power or pausing to acknowledge your own vulnerability.
Draw a card in the morning and read the prayer aloud. That rhythm matches the tone of the texts.
Who this works for
This deck requires no prior knowledge. The prayers are on the cards, the images speak for themselves. That makes it accessible for someone who has not worked with oracle cards before.
At the same time, this is not a light deck. The spirituality is explicitly present, not as a suggestion but as a foundation. If you are not comfortable with prayers or with references to Native American traditions, this deck will not suit you.

No. The prayers are on the back of the cards. You do not need a separate guidebook to know what a card means.
Are the texts and images explicitly religious?
The texts are spiritual and regularly refer to the earth, animals, and natural forces. They are not connected to a specific church, but are clearly rooted in Native American spirituality.
