See You Tomorrow Tarot - 26 cards between art and trauma
Not every tarot deck has 78 cards. This one has 26 and chooses deliberately to have fewer. It is designed as a visual extension of the novel See You Tomorrow, in which Thanh tries to understand what really happened through the paintings of her sister Bao Khanh.
Each card in this deck is an artwork from that story. No guidebook, no fixed meanings, no spreads. What you get are images you must interpret yourself, just as Thanh does in the book.
What makes this deck different
The structure deviates from traditional tarot. The deck contains two versions of The Lovers, which gives room for nuance in how you look at relationships. In addition there are three cards that exist nowhere else: The Karma, Myself and The Blank.
The Blank is exactly what the name says: an empty card. Leave it empty or fill it in yourself, that is up to you.
The entire deck revolves around the question of how art can help process something too difficult to name directly. The cards are not answers. They are entry points.
How you use this deck
This deck asks for a different way of reading. Draw one card and see what the image evokes in you. Lay out the three special cards next to each other and look for connections. Or pick up the novel and read how Thanh herself looks at the paintings.
It works best if you already know how tarot works, but are not tied to fixed systems. There is room for interpretation, precisely because there are no instructions.
Place The Blank as the last card in a spread and fill in yourself what is missing. That is often the card that says the most.
About the novel and the project
The deck emerged from See You Tomorrow, a novel about two sisters and a trauma that stands between them. Bao Khanh paints, Thanh tries to understand. The deck brings those paintings outside, separate from the page.
Estrella Montien Strella presented the project at the Thai Book Fair, where it was received as a literary-artistic experiment. The deck stands on its own, but the novel provides context that deepens the cards.

Questions we often get
Do I need to have read the novel to use this deck?
No, but it helps. The cards work intuitively, but the novel provides background that sharpens the symbolism. You can also use them separately.
Are there instructions or meanings included with the cards?
No. This deck assumes you look and interpret for yourself. It is designed to remain open, not to fix meanings.
