Sigil Witchery Oracle - symbols as building blocks for ritual work
Most oracles you work through with your eyes and your feeling. This deck asks for a pen and a sheet of paper. Sigil Witchery Oracle by Laura Tempest Zakroff is a working set for designing your own magical signs: visual anchors for intentions, rituals or meditation.
60 cards divided across five categories: 42 symbol cards, 4 element cards, 8 design cards and 6 blank cards. The cards are cleanly designed, no crowded scenes but clear linework. Iridescent foil on the box, the guidebook cover and 54 cards gives the set a subtle shimmer that moves with the light.
What you do with the cards
You draw a combination of symbols, lay them next to each other and merge them into a single sign. That is the core of sigil magic: simplifying intention into form. The design cards give structure: how do you position the symbols in relation to each other, what shape does the whole take. The element cards determine which direction the energy moves.
The 6 blank cards have a matte finish, suitable for writing or drawing on. Permanent or temporary, depending on what you use. This lets you incorporate your personal symbols into the deck itself.
The 240-page guidebook describes each symbol and offers instructions for designing sigils. No divinatory meanings in the classic sense, but context and interpretation.
Draw three symbol cards and one design card. Sketch the symbols over each other according to the design structure. Simplify what you see until only the essence remains. Draw an element card to see which element strengthens your intention.
Who this works for
This deck is built for people who want to be active in their practice. Not passive drawing and looking up meanings, but sketching, combining, rewriting. It works if you like minimalism and want to shape your own ritual tools.
If you are looking for a traditional oracle deck with detailed scenes and fixed messages, this is not what you need. This is equipment.

Questions we often get
Can I use this deck for classic divination?
You can draw and interpret the symbols, but the strength of this deck lies in the design work. It is more a toolkit than an oracle in the traditional sense.
Are the blank cards reusable?
They have a matte finish. Depending on what you use to write or draw, they are intended for permanent additions. With specific pencils you might be able to use them temporarily, but that is not the main function.
