Supra Oracle - Uusi - Jungian archetypes without a fixed system
Some oracles give answers. This one gives questions. The Supra Oracle by Peter Dunham and Linnea Gits is designed from the depth psychology of Carl Jung and the Gnostic tradition. The aim is not to look up a meaning in a booklet, but to articulate your own truth through image and intuition.
All 56 cards are hand-drawn. The imagery combines archetypes such as the shadow, the anima and the self with abstract forms that bring together scientific and mystical concepts. This is the third edition, printed on linen-finish card stock and finished with gold foil on the packaging.
What you see and how it works
The illustrations are organic and raw. No clean lines, no elaborate scenes. Instead you get symbols that are deliberately kept vague, so that your own associations lead.
The included introductory guide gives an archetypal starting point for each card, but deliberately leaves room for your own interpretation. Many people use this deck for shadow work, meditation or creative writing. One card a day as a starting point works well. Those who lay it next to a tarot reading can use it to determine the psychological theme of the spread.
Who this does not work for
If you are looking for fixed meanings or want to learn a clear system, you are better off choosing another deck. The Supra Oracle asks for a willingness to work with your own images. That makes it demanding for those not yet used to intuitive reading.
For those already working with archetypes, dream analysis or other forms of inner work, this deck is a reliable visual tool. The abstraction is not a weakness, but the core of the design.
Look at the card quietly before consulting the guide. What the image evokes in you at that moment is often more relevant than the description.

Questions we often get
What is different about the third edition?
The cards themselves are unchanged in content. The production quality has been refined: linen-finish card stock, gold foil and embossing on the box. It remains a Uusi edition with attention to the physical object.
Do I need to know Jung to use this deck?
No. The introductory guide gives enough context to begin. What does help is a willingness to work with your own associations instead of looking up fixed meanings.
