Supra: The Hidden Path of an Oracle - philosophy and imagery in one book
Some books sit quietly beside a card deck. This one asks you to pick it up on its own and get lost in it. Supra: The Hidden Path of an Oracle by Linnea Gits is not a handbook. It is a text that takes you into the thinking behind the Supra system.
The book is published by Uusi, the studio Gits runs with illustrator Peter Dunham. Everything about it is considered: 144 pages on heavy archival paper, quiet typography, full focus on content and image.
What this book is really about
The core lies in Jungian psychology and Gnostic philosophy. No fixed meanings, no keyword lists. Instead you get descriptions that show how a card can behave as an archetype. Each page asks you to make the connections yourself.
All the cards from the Supra Oracle are reproduced in black and white, which brings out the linework and symbolism. Three separate art pages, printed in matte black, metallic gold and opalescent white, give the book a tactile depth you rarely see in a companion volume.
Who this works for
This book assumes you already have some experience with oracle or tarot cards. There are no spreads, no practical instructions. What you get is a text that works as a tool for reflection.
Many readers pick out a single card description, read it a few times, and let it sit for a while. That matches the pace of the text.
Read one card description just before sleep and notice what stays with you the next day. The text is dense enough that it does not absorb in a single pass.

Questions we often get
Does this book include spreads or instructions for using the oracle?
No. The book focuses entirely on the philosophical and symbolic side of the cards. How you lay them out is up to you.
Is this book worthwhile if I do not own the Supra Oracle?
Yes. The descriptions are rich enough to read on their own. Owning the deck is not a requirement.
