Divine Feminine Oracle Cards - 53 female figures from different traditions
Oracle decks about feminine energy are common. This one stands out through its choice to bring together saints, mystics and goddesses from different religious and cultural traditions. From Mary Magdalene to Kuan Yin, from Brigid to Lilith.
Meggan Watterson, feminist theologian and author, developed this deck from her work with ancient texts and feminine spirituality. The cards focus on self-love, transformation and inner truth, with an affirmation for each card and an extended description in the guidebook.
What you see on the cards
Each card shows a female figure with her name and a short affirmation. The illustrations vary in style and represent figures from different cultures and time periods. The selection is intentionally inclusive.
The cards are large (100 x 135 mm) and printed on sturdy cardstock with a matte finish. They feel good in the hand and shuffle smoothly. The format works well if you prefer larger cards and want to see the images clearly.
How you work with them
The guidebook gives a longer text for each card with background on the female figure and the meaning of the card. No fixed spreads, but suggestions for daily use: drawing a card as a morning ritual, during meditation or when you need a specific message.
The affirmations on the cards are direct enough to use without the book, but the guidebook adds depth if you want more context.
Draw a card and read the affirmation out loud. The texts are written to be spoken, not just read.
About Meggan Watterson
Meggan Watterson studied feminist theology and wrote several books on feminine spirituality and ancient religious texts. Her work focuses on making visible the female voices in spiritual traditions that are often male-dominated.
This deck is a direct translation of that focus: it brings together female figures from different traditions and gives them equal standing.

Questions we often get
How does this differ from a tarot deck?
This is an oracle deck without a fixed structure. No 78 cards, no arcana, no fixed meanings per position. Each card stands on its own and carries a message you can interpret within your own context.
Are the figures on the cards culturally diverse?
Yes. Watterson deliberately chose female figures from different religious and cultural traditions: Christian, Buddhist, Hindu, Celtic, indigenous and more. The deck is inclusively designed.
