Not every goddess deck goes back to one cultural source. This one does. The Goddess Temple Oracle Cards by Sarah Perini are built on Celtic, Welsh and Cornish traditions, and follow the wheel of life as understood in those cultures: as a cycle of seasons, growth, rest and rebirth.
Elena Albanese drew the cards. Her style combines soft colours with clear lines. Each of the 45 cards shows a different side of the goddess, not as a person but as an archetype.
The imagery is symbolic but not abstract. You see figures, landscapes, plants and seasonal elements. The colours are soft: lots of green, blue and earth tones, with touches of gold here and there.
The cards are 88 x 125 mm, have a smooth finish and shuffle easily. The cardstock is sturdy enough for daily use. The guidebook is multilingual and describes the meaning of each card and its place within the wheel of life.
