The illustrations are by Lori Menna, the artist behind Cosmic Collage. Her style is geometric, modern and instantly recognizable. Triangles, circles, cosmic elements and colour gradients dominate the imagery. The symbolism is spiritual, but not overloaded.
Each card addresses four layers: spiritual, emotional, mental and physical. The visual structure supports that layering. The colours are calm, the shapes clean. The whole feels minimalist, but there is enough symbolism to hold your attention.

Does this deck work if I know little about chakras or ayurveda?
The guidebook explains the philosophy behind each card, so you can start without prior knowledge. You will get more out of the deck if you also explore these themes outside the cards. The terms and symbolism gain more meaning that way.
How does this deck differ from a tarot deck?
This is not tarot. There is no structure of major and minor arcana, no classical symbolism. The fifty cards are organized by wellness themes and are meant for reflection, not prediction. You can use this deck well alongside a tarot deck: tarot for analysis, this deck for concrete steps.
