Mandalas are not decorations. In many traditions they are used as instruments to focus awareness and move energy. This oracle deck by Melanie Ware builds on that tradition.
Each card shows a mandala based on sacred geometry. The patterns are symmetrical, colourful, and designed to resonate directly with your energy field. This is not symbolism you need to learn to read. It works by looking at it.
Each of the 42 mandalas has its own structure. Some are warm and earthy, with shades of orange, red and brown. Others light up in blue, purple or gold. The geometric shapes often repeat: circles, triangles, petals, spirals.
What stands out is the clarity. The colours are saturated but not harsh. The patterns are complex, but not chaotic. The eye naturally finds a resting point.
The cards are large: 95 x 140 mm. This makes them suitable for placing in front of you during meditation or, as Ware suggests in the guidebook, on your body.
The 96-page guidebook describes the energetic charge of each card and offers suggestions for visualisations. It also includes placements: cards you can place on specific parts of your body to activate certain chakras or energy channels.
