The Sacred Medicine Oracle by Asha Frost and Steph Littlebird Fogel is built on Indigenous traditions and places healing in the context of ancestral connection, natural cycles and conscious alignment with the earth.

The deck contains 56 cards, published in a two-piece box with sturdy matte finish. The guidebook contains not only card meanings, but also meditations and rituals.

What you see on the cards

The imagery is vibrant and symbolically rich. Each card carries elements from nature: plant spirits, animal guides, moon phases, elements. Steph Littlebird Fogel's style is contemporary yet rooted in traditional iconography.

The colours are saturated and warm. No pastel palettes, but deep earth tones, bright accents in red and gold, and clear contrasts. The cards feel ceremonial, not decorative.

Each card carries a title, no additional text. The guidebook provides background but leaves room for personal interpretation.

How this deck works

Asha Frost emphasises that this oracle is a tool for transformative work. The cards are designed to meditate with, to lay in ritual, to sit with in silence. This is not a deck you shuffle and draw quickly between appointments.

The guidebook contains meditations for each card and practical exercises. They are not abstract, but ask for concrete actions: writing something down, making an offering, sitting in silence with a question.

Place the card you draw somewhere you will see it all day. The intention is not to memorise the meaning, but to let the energy come in.

About Asha Frost and Steph Littlebird Fogel

Asha Frost is a medicine woman from the Chippewas of Nawash First Nation. Her work centres on healing through connection with ancestors, ceremony and natural wisdom. She writes, gives workshops and guides people through transformation processes.

Steph Littlebird Fogel is an artist who brings the symbolism of Indigenous traditions into contemporary imagery. Her work for this deck combines traditional elements with a modern execution.
