Product information
World of Bunnies Tarot - kawaii bunny deck without a guidebook
Not every tarot deck needs to feel heavy. The World of Bunnies Tarot makes a clear choice for lightness: all the figures are fluffy bunnies picnicking, gardening and going on small adventures together. The structure follows the classic Rider-Waite-Smith system, but the mood shifts so completely that a familiar card like the Ten of Swords suddenly feels far less grim.
The cards are drawn by Ting Yang and published by the Vermilion Collection. This standard edition is the plain version: a matte tuck box, no gold foil, no linen texture, no guidebook. What you get is 80 cards and nothing else.
What you see on the cards
The illustrations show daily life in a bunny world. Friendship, community and simple pleasures are the recurring themes. Yang is known for her attention to facial expressions and body language: you read the mood of a card through the bunny, not through a human figure.
The matte finish softens the colours slightly and gives the cards a quiet quality. There is no shimmer pulling your eye away from the image. What you see is the drawing itself.
Working without a guidebook
This deck contains no guidebook. Readers who already know the Rider-Waite-Smith system will not miss one: the scenes follow classic symbolism, translated into the bunny universe. For readers who prefer reading images intuitively, that is actually a plus. Nothing is telling you what you should see.
The matte cards shuffle smoothly and do not stick together. That makes this a practical choice for daily use.
Pull a card and look at the bunny first. What is it doing? How does it look? The Rider-Waite-Smith meaning will follow naturally.
About Ting Yang
Ting Yang works in the indie tarot world and is known for what she calls 'Silent Storytelling'. Her decks contain little to no text, so she puts extra care into the non-verbal communication of her characters. The World of Bunnies Tarot shows this clearly: the bunnies carry the whole story of each card without a single word.
