Through the Eyes of the Soul - oil paintings as oracle
There are oracle cards and there are paintings that function as oracle. This is the second. Cheryl Yambrach Rose painted 54 visions in oil on linen, and this deck is a reproduction of that work. Each image is an attempt to connect with what she calls cosmic dimensions, sacred sites and Pleiadian energies.
The style recalls renaissance and baroque masters: realistic faces, attention to light, symbolism that shows rather than explains. The cards are large (90 x 130 mm), which keeps the detail of the paintwork visible. The cardstock is sturdy, the finish matte.
What you see on the cards
Figures with direct gazes. Landscapes that feel both earthly and otherworldly. Symbols from different spiritual traditions placed side by side. The colours are rich but not bright: lots of deep brown, blue, gold tones, with occasional sharp accents.
Rose calls her style Neo-Mythic. That means she uses classical mythological motifs but places them in a context of modern spirituality and cosmic consciousness expansion. The images are not illustrative. They are meant as energetic portals, born from visions Rose experienced while painting.
How the guidebook works
The 68-page guidebook is in English and describes each card with poetic, sometimes philosophical texts. No keywords, no fixed meanings. Instead you get descriptions of energy, frequency and the question a card poses. The tone is meditative and asks for rereading.
Rose also explains how she uses the deck herself: not as a fortune-telling tool but as a means for energetic attunement and inner knowing. That matches the gravity of the imagery.
Look first at the eyes of the figure on a card before consulting the guidebook. That is the fastest way to feel the energy of the card.
Who this deck works for
This deck assumes experience with oracle work and interest in cosmic spirituality. The cards do not speak a straightforward language. They ask for time, silence and willingness to work with abstract concepts. Pleiadian wisdom, the third eye, multidimensional consciousness layers: these are the themes Rose works with.
If you are looking for clear answers or practical guidance, this is not the deck for that. If you are interested in meditative imagery and symbolism you must interpret yourself, it is.

Questions we often get
Are the cards numbered or titled?
The cards have titles in English. There is no fixed sequence as in tarot, it is a free oracle system.
How does this deck differ from other spiritual oracle cards?
The art style is classical and technically refined, comparable to old master paintings. The themes focus on cosmic consciousness expansion and Pleiadian wisdom, not on everyday guidance. That makes it a specific deck for a specific interest.
