Product information
Treasure Hunters - card game for talents and connection
Some games are designed to win. This game is designed to see. Treasure Hunters by Greetje Welten and Matty van de Rijzen is not about competition, but about naming what is already there: talents, qualities, strengths.
The deck consists of two types of cards. The 27 task cards give you an assignment. The 27 treasure cards name a talent. You can use them in sequence or separately, depending on what you need.
What you do with the cards
The task cards ask for a concrete action. That could be a conversation, an observation, a question to someone else. The treasure cards point to an inner quality: resilience, humour, listening skills, perseverance.
The format is compact (63 x 88 mm), so you can easily take the game with you. The card stock is sturdy enough for use in a classroom or work group.
The guidebook contains several game variants. You can play the game with a group, in pairs, or alone as a daily reflection exercise.
Where this game works
Treasure Hunters is developed for situations where you want to make a connection or name talents. This could be in families, at school, in team-building sessions or during coaching conversations.
The language is clear and accessible. You do not need prior knowledge to get started with the cards. The tasks and talent descriptions are directly applicable.
Draw a treasure card every morning and notice throughout the day when that quality shows itself in your own behaviour or that of others.
