Product information

Tree Keepers Oracle - 44 tree figures with stories to think about

Trees stand in one place for years. They grow slowly, survive storms, draw nourishment from the ground. Look at a tree long enough and you see steadiness. The Tree Keepers Oracle makes that quality tangible.

Angi Sullins wrote the texts, Dan May created the illustrations. Together they delivered 44 cards and a 108-page guidebook. Published by U.S. Games Systems, delivered in a sturdy box with magnetic closure.

What you see on the cards

Each card shows a tree figure with an almost human presence. You see roots reaching deep into the earth, branches spreading out, animals and plants in the surroundings. The figures stand still, dig in, or reach upward.

The colours are warm and deep: brown tones, green, ochre, occasional blue. The atmosphere is quiet. Dan May draws with detail, care for texture and light. Not bare symbols but fully built compositions with multiple layers.

Each card carries one theme: patience, strength, connection, growth. The images are concrete enough to understand what the card is about even without text.

How the guidebook works

Each card has a short story and a reflection question. Angi Sullins writes poetically and encouragingly, without forcing. The texts ask you to pause, not to act immediately.

The guidebook contains no spreads. You draw a card, look at the image, read the story. That is the foundation. How you continue is up to you.

Look first at the animals and plants surrounding the tree figure. Note what catches your eye first, then read the text and see what connects.

Who this deck works for

The Tree Keepers Oracle is not a beginner deck in the classic sense. It works best if you already know how to approach an oracle card. No rigid meanings, no fixed system. You make the translation yourself.

Because the images are so rich, you can also read the cards without text. That does require familiarity with symbolism and the willingness to give yourself space to interpret.

About Angi Sullins and Dan May

Angi Sullins is a writer. Her style is poetic and gentle, without becoming vague. She writes encouragingly, with attention to the silence between words.

Dan May is an illustrator. His work for the Tree Keepers Oracle has a warm, sheltered atmosphere. The tree figures feel old and wise, without being distant.

Questions we often get

Is this deck available in languages other than English?
No. The cards and guidebook are in English only. The images are concrete enough to read without text. For the stories and reflection questions you need basic English.

What is the difference between these oracle cards and a tarot deck?
This is not tarot. There are 44 cards instead of 78, no major or minor arcana, no fixed structure. Each card has an independent message. You do not need to learn a system to work with them.
