Product information
Vice Versa Tarot - 78 cards with two sides
Most tarot cards have a back that says nothing. These do. The Vice Versa Tarot gives each card two sides with their own illustration. One side shows the standard symbol, the other shows what lies behind it or what the opposite pole is.
The deck is designed by illustrator Davide Corsi, known for his digital drawing style with clear lines and bright colours. Each of the 78 cards has two different images, which amounts to 156 illustrations in one set.
How the two sides work
The front of the card shows what you would see in a classic tarot deck. The back shows a different angle: the shadow side, the hidden motive, or the outcome instead of the cause.
You can interpret both sides together, or focus only on the side that comes up while shuffling. Both ways give more information than a reading with regular cards.
The illustrations are made digitally, with sharp lines and vivid colours. The drawing style recalls modern fantasy art: precise, decorative and immediately readable.
Who this works for
This deck follows the Rider-Waite-Smith structure. All 78 cards are present, including the minor arcana with full scenes. That makes it accessible for those already working with tarot.
The double-sided setup adds an extra layer to every reading. That asks for more interpretation than with a standard deck, but the guidebook explains how to read the two sides.
Lay a card face up and look at what is visible. Turn it over and see what lies underneath. That movement alone brings more dynamic to a spread.
