Liminal space is the space between two states. You are in it when you have just left your job but do not yet know what comes next. When a relationship has ended and the silence begins. When you are on your way somewhere but not yet there.
This oracle by Bakara Wintner and Kaylee Christenson focuses precisely on that space. 77 cards in black and white, without colour or decoration. The imagery is abstract, sometimes geometric, sometimes organic. The focus is on line, form, contrast.
Each card shows one image. No caption, no number, no indication where to look. Some cards show arches or gates. Others windows, thresholds, shadows that mark an opening.
The black-and-white aesthetic is not just a stylistic choice. It strips away everything that distracts. What remains is a form that you interpret based on where you stand right now.
The cards are printed on 310 gsm casino-grade cardstock with a linen finish. They feel solid and shuffle smoothly. The size is 70 x 120 mm, which sits comfortably in the hand and also works well for smaller hands.
