Wild Women of Mother Earth Oracle Cards English - photographs of real women, 60 cards

Most oracle decks show drawn figures: goddesses, angels, archetypes. This one does something different. Every card carries a photograph of a real woman, taken in nature, with all the variation that brings. That is not a stylistic choice. It is the point of the whole deck.

Elly Ariella made this deck together with more than sixty women from different countries. It is self-published, grown from a personal process, and has since reached more than ten countries. This English edition contains 60 cards and a guidebook.

What you see on the cards

Women in forests, near water, on open ground in nature. Not polished model photography, but images that place strength and vulnerability side by side. The accompanying texts are positive and direct, aimed at recognition and self-love. One reviewer described the deck as 'raw and sacred, high and deep, light and dark all at once.'

Because the images are photographs of real people, this deck lands differently than cards with symbolic illustration. The message is more concrete. That is exactly what users mention again and again in their reviews.

The story behind this deck

Elly Ariella started this project during a difficult period in her own life. The question driving it was how women can reclaim their authentic strength. She sought out women willing to be photographed as they are. The result is a co-creation, not a solo project.

The deck is used in women's circles, red tents and women's empowerment festivals. It was first published in English, and is now also available in Dutch and German.

What is the difference between this edition and the original first print?
The first English print contains 54 cards. This edition contains 60, making it an expanded version. If you already own the first edition, a separate Dutch guidebook with expansion cards is available via info@ellyariella.nl.

Are the cards photographs or illustrations?
Photographs. The cards show women who contributed to the co-creation of the deck, photographed in nature. That sets this deck apart from most oracle cards available.
