Zodiac Tarot Deck & Guidebook - tarot and astrology built into one system
Most astrology-themed tarot decks scatter a few zodiac symbols across familiar card images and call it done. This one starts from structure instead. The Major Arcana are distributed across the 12 zodiac signs and 10 planets; the Minor Arcana follow the four elements and their corresponding signs. The result is a consistent framework that makes itself felt the more you work with the cards.
The deck is grounded in Rider-Waite symbolism, the most widely used tarot system in the world. The imagery stays recognisable, but each card is reread through an astrological lens. That positions the deck squarely at the crossover between two disciplines: useful for tarot readers who want to learn astrology, and for astrology students who want to start reading cards.
What you see on the cards
Ana Chávez, a Mexican illustrator and multimedia designer, drew all 78 cards. Her style is dreamlike and cosmic: deep blues dominate, layered with gold and soft pastels. The figures on the cards draw from mythological traditions across multiple cultures, which gives the imagery a variety you do not always find in a single deck.
The cards measure 58 x 127 mm with a glossy finish. They shuffle comfortably and sit well in the hand. The packaging is a sturdy, well-finished box.
The guidebook
The included guidebook runs to 128 full-colour pages. For each card it explains the traditional tarot meaning alongside the astrological connection: which sign or planet belongs here, and what that adds to the reading. That makes it genuinely useful, not just decorative.
More experienced readers will find the texts concise. They work as a starting point rather than a deep study resource. If you are used to working with an extensive companion volume, you may want additional references alongside this one.
Start with the Major Arcana and look up the zodiac sign or planet assigned to each card. It gives you a quick map of how the two systems relate before you bring in the Minor Arcana.
About Cecilia Lattari and Ana Chávez
Cecilia Lattari is an Italian herbalist who studied at the University of Bologna and also works as a professional actress. She teaches social pedagogy and uses writing, theatre and contact with the natural world as educational tools. That breadth shows in how she weaves mythological imagery from different cultures into the deck's framework.
Ana Chávez grew up drawn to mysticism and esotericism and works as an illustrator and multimedia designer. She builds fantastical worlds around plants, witch symbolism and untamed female energy. For this deck she brought that world into a cosmic palette.

Questions we often get
Do I need to know astrology to use this deck?
Not in advance. The guidebook explains the astrological connections card by card, so you can pick up the basics of signs, planets and elements as you go. That said, if astrology holds no interest for you at all, the extra layer this deck offers will not be much use.
What language are the cards and the guidebook in?
Both are in English. The card titles appear in English, and the guidebook is entirely in English.
