Roselyne Joulé, a French clairvoyant and card reader, built this oracle around everyday life: love, family, social media, modern work situations and small daily irritations. The name Rhô refers to both the Greek letter and her own first name. A corner symbol system built into every card shifts the meaning depending on whether the card is drawn upright or reversed.
The numbering of all 80 cards was determined by numerologist Laetitia Lê-Defontaine, adding a layer of structure that runs quietly beneath the whole deck.
James R. Eads designed this oracle as a single continuous landscape: all 78 cards fit together to form one vast map of a forgotten world, seen from above. Every path either continues into the next card or stops without warning. The back of each card is marbled using the traditional Ebru technique, in which pigment floats on water before being transferred to paper.
The five spreads in the guidebook were designed specifically for this deck, taking into account how each card sits within the larger landscape.
The Valley of the Lambs Tarot replaces every human figure from the classic Rider-Waite-Smith system with a white lamb. The symbolism stays intact: postures, attributes and colour coding all follow the RWS tradition closely. Artist SENGIA printed the cards on 400 gsm art paper with a linen finish and matte gold edges.
Two bonus cards, ‘The Dream’ and ‘The Lamb’, fall outside the standard RWS structure.
