Cats appear in mythology and folklore all over the world. From guardians of the underworld to lucky charms at shop doors. This oracle gathers 45 of those feline figures and links them to present-day reflection questions.
The deck is created by Catherine C. Caprino, a spiritual author from New York. The illustrations are by Kaleriia Tverdoklib, who drew each cat in vivid colour and detail. The result is an oracle focused on intuition, protection and independence, qualities historically associated with cats.
Each card shows a different cat from a different cultural context. Bastet, the Egyptian goddess with a cat body, stands beside Maneki-Neko, the beckoning cat from Japan. Between them you find Norse forest cats, Celtic fairy cats and many other figures.
