What you see on the cards

Each of the 44 cards is hand-painted. The style is abstract and leaves room for personal interpretation. Colours and shapes dominate, no narrative scenes or clearly recognisable symbols.

The cards have no text on the front. Only the back shows the title. This means you first respond to what you see, and only then read what the creator intended.

How the guidebook works

The guidebook runs to 240 pages and describes each card on different levels: mental, emotional and spiritual. The texts are thorough and assume the reader who takes time. No brief summaries, but continuous descriptions that invite rereading.

There are no spreads included. Fairchild assumes you draw the cards as feels right in that moment. The emphasis is on the energetic process, not on technique.

Draw a card, place it in front of you and look for a few minutes before you open the book. What you see or feel in those first few minutes is often the core of what the card does for you.
