Magdalene Oracle

Magdalene Oracle - 45 cards dedicated to divine femininity

Mary Magdalene has become visible again in recent decades. No longer just a side figure in biblical stories, but as an archetype of gentle strength and spiritual wisdom. The Magdalene Oracle by Toni Carmine Salerno captures that energy and translates it into 45 oracle cards.

The imagery is dreamy and luminous. Warm tones, soft transitions, figures that seem to float. Salerno paints atmospheres more than sharp storylines. The cards work mainly through what they evoke, not through what they show literally.

What you see on the cards

Each card carries a title and a short verse or saying. The images themselves often show female figures, natural elements, flowers and light effects. The style is spiritual without being religious. Salerno does not impose strict symbolism, which leaves room for personal interpretation.

The cards are large (95 x 140 mm), printed on sturdy cardstock with glossy details and rounded corners. They feel solid and have enough weight to shuffle comfortably. The deluxe hardbox protects everything well.

What the guidebook offers

The English guidebook of 108 pages gives a short description of the theme and message for each card. The tone is comforting and inviting. There are also several spreads included, ranging from a simple card for the day to more elaborate layouts.

Salerno writes from a vision of Mary Magdalene as a symbol for self-love, forgiveness and spiritual awakening. Those themes return throughout the card texts.

Draw a card in the morning and place it somewhere you will see it several times during the day. That works better than reading it once and then putting it away.

Who this deck works for

This deck is designed for intuitive work. The images speak directly to feeling, which makes it accessible for beginners. Anyone looking for fixed symbolism or a tight structure like in tarot will not find that here.

The loving tone and soft imagery also make it suitable for readings where comfort or healing is central.

Questions we often get

How does this deck differ from a traditional tarot deck?
This is an oracle deck without the fixed structure of tarot (no Major Arcana, Minor Arcana or court cards). You can draw any card and interpret it based on intuition and the included descriptions. The approach is freer.

Can I use the cards effectively without reading the guidebook?
Yes. The images are clear enough to work with intuitively. The short titles on the cards themselves give direction, and the visual language speaks for itself. The guidebook adds depth but is not required for every reading.
