Reflection Mindful Ritual Cards - fifty cards for deliberate pause
Some decks prompt interpretation; this one prompts stopping. Reflection - Mindful Ritual Cards by Paige McLeod is not a tarot deck and not an oracle deck in the conventional sense. There is no symbolic system to learn, no figures to read, and no spread positions to memorise. What it offers instead are fifty short written prompts, each designed to interrupt a habit or a fixed expectation.
McLeod developed this deck through Prism + Fleur Design Studio, which she founded in 2014. Her background sits at the intersection of design, storytelling, and intentional creative practice. The deck reflects that: the instruction material is a tri-fold leaflet rather than a full guidebook, and the cards are compact. The hardcover box opens vertically and measures 138 x 95 x 34 mm.
What the cards contain
Each card carries a short text - a reminder or what McLeod calls a 'gentle disruptor', a small prompt designed to break a familiar routine or shift perspective. The visual design is deliberately restrained. The point is not to analyse the card but to sit with it briefly. The box features gold-foil stamping and the cards have gold-painted edges, giving the set a clean, considered finish.
Who this deck suits
This is not a deck for elaborate readings or sustained symbolic study. It works best as a daily interruption: draw one card, read it, pause. If you are looking for a layered learning system or complex imagery, this deck does not offer that. If you want something small that regularly offers a different angle on the day, the format fits that purpose well.
Fifty cards without imagery or spread structure - the effect rests entirely on the text and the act of drawing.

Questions we often get
Do you need any experience with tarot or oracle cards to use this deck?
No. Reflection works independently of any knowledge of tarot or oracle systems. There are no symbolic layers to learn and no positions to memorise. You draw a card and read what it says - no prior knowledge is required.
How substantial is the included guidebook?
The deck comes with a tri-fold leaflet, not an extended guidebook. The cards are designed to stand on their own rather than to be studied at length. If you are expecting a detailed written companion, this deck does not include one.
