Round cards feel different in your hand. No corners, no direction, just a soft shape that immediately signals this is not a classic tarot deck. Round of Angels by Sophia Cantardi consists of thirty-five cards that look like small mandalas, each with an angel theme in pastel colours.
The cards have a diameter of ten centimetres. The card stock is sturdy but not thick, with a soft sheen that does not show fingerprints. The edge of each card flows gradually into the central image, making the circle itself part of the symbolism.
Each card shows a stylised angel figure in the centre, surrounded by symmetrical patterns that reference mandalas. The colours are soft: lots of pink, light blue, beige and white. No drama, no shadows.
The images are simple. No hidden layers or complex scenes. What you see is what you get: a figure, a colour, a feeling. This makes the cards intuitively readable, even without prior knowledge.
This is not a deck for elaborate spreads. Most people draw one card as a daily reflection or meditation image. The round shape asks you to hold the card for a moment and look at the colour before you assign a meaning.
The included guidebook is compact and trilingual: English, French and German. It describes a short message and theme for each card. No extensive explanation, more a direction in which you can think.
