Seasons of the Witch: Lammas Oracle - harvest themes across 44 illustrated cards
Lammas falls at the midpoint of summer, traditionally the first harvest festival - a moment when what has been planted starts to show results. The Seasons of the Witch: Lammas Oracle takes that framework and applies it to questions of confidence, perseverance and recognising what you have already built.
This is the seventh deck in the Seasons of the Witch series from Rockpool Publishing. The series was developed by Lorriane Anderson and Juliet Diaz, who here collaborate again with Belgian illustrator Tijana Lukovic, a returning contributor to the series.
What you see on the cards
Lukovic's visual language draws on folklore, mythology, fairy tale and the cycles of the natural world. Her illustrations carry a quality of late summer light and seasonal change that fits the Lammas theme directly. The 44 cards measure 90 x 128 mm and are printed on sturdy cardstock; the complete set weighs 367 g.
How to work with it
The included guidebook covers the meaning of each card and adds invocations and practices tied specifically to the Lammas season. You can draw cards individually or use them alongside the exercises in the guidebook. This is a deliberately seasonal deck - it works best when you are actively thinking about what you want to harvest or what deserves recognition in your life right now.
This is not a general-purpose oracle for any question at any time of year. It has a specific season and a defined mood - which is exactly what makes it useful when that season is yours.

Questions we often get
Do I need to own the other decks in the series to use this one?
No. Each deck in the Seasons of the Witch series is self-contained, with its own cards, its own guidebook and its own theme. The Lammas Oracle works fully on its own without any of the other titles.
Is this deck accessible if I am not familiar with Lammas?
The guidebook explains what Lammas is and how its harvest themes are reflected in the cards. No prior knowledge is needed. It helps to be open to seasonal, nature-based practice, since that framework underpins the whole deck.
