Duy Khanh Vo has designed 38 unique variations, supplemented with 8 cards based on the Ba Gua from the I Ching. The result is a deck focused on one question: how do you approach the courage needed to begin something new?
What you see on the cards
The imagery is quiet and layered. Each card shows a different appearance of the Fool, in a different context, with a different energy. Some figures stand still, others move. Some look at you, others look away.
The 8 Ba Gua Fools add an extra layer. They connect the energy of the Fool with the eight fundamental forces from the I Ching: heaven, earth, water, fire, wind, thunder, mountain and lake. This gives you more specificity in a reading than a standard oracle card.
The format is classic tarot: 7 × 12 cm. The cardstock is 250 gsm, matte laminated. The cards feel sturdy and shuffle smoothly.
How you work with it
This deck is intuitive enough for beginners and layered enough for those who have worked with cards for longer. The digital guidebook provides context for each card, but the images speak without text as well.
