Witch Crystals - crystals, cards and the Wheel of the Year in one set
Most card readings are flat. You lay down the cards, read them and put them away. This set works differently. You pick up a stone, feel the weight, place it on a point in the Wheel of the Year and only then draw a card. It is divination that gives your hands something to do.
Witch Crystals is designed by Barbara Moore and published by Lo Scarabeo. The set contains five real crystals, eight cards and a foldable board with the Wheel of the Year printed on it. Each crystal represents a different energetic quality: Blue Agate for clarity, Green Aventurine for growth, Red Jasper for grounding, Rose Quartz for love and White Onyx for protection.
How you work with it
You start with a question or intention. You choose a crystal intuitively and place it on a segment of the board that corresponds to a period in the year, a sabbat or a phase in a cycle. Then you draw one of the eight cards. That combination gives a layered answer.
The board is based on the eight sabbats from the pagan calendar: Samhain, Yule, Imbolc, Ostara, Beltane, Litha, Lammas and Mabon. Each segment represents a different energy and phase. The cards do not function as a classic oracle deck, but as markers that deepen the meaning of the chosen crystal and its position on the board.
The method is not rigid. You can place a stone anew each day to follow a cycle. You can use multiple crystals at once. You can also add your own tarot cards and lay them next to the crystal for extra insight. The system leaves room.
Use this set at the new moon to choose your intention for the coming cycle. Place the crystal that fits your goal on the segment that aligns with the coming period.
What is in it
The board is foldable and printed on sturdy cardboard. The five crystals are real: not imitation, not glass. They are small enough to hold easily, large enough to feel their weight. The eight cards are slightly larger than playing cards and contain symbolic images that align with the cycles of the Wheel of the Year.
Everything comes packed in a sturdy storage box measuring 175 x 235 mm. The set weighs 510 grams, which makes sense with five stones inside. The guidebook is in English and explains the workings of each crystal and each segment.

Questions we often get
Are the crystals real or imitation?
They are real crystals. Not glass, not plastic. Five different types of natural stone, selected for their energetic properties.
Can I use this set with my own tarot cards?
Yes. Many people lay a tarot card next to the crystal on the board to deepen the reading. The set is not designed for that, but it does align well.
