Romantic Lenormand Oracle - classic Lenormand in Art Nouveau style
The Lenormand system is built for clarity. Thirty-six cards, each carrying a recognisable symbol, designed to be read quickly and concretely. Anna Oginski left that structure in place and wrapped it in the visual language of the Art Nouveau movement.
Floral motifs, organic lines and ornate borders shape how each card looks. The classic Lenormand symbols, from the Birds to the Coffin and the Sun, remain clearly present, placed inside a botanical setting that gives the cards a warm, considered aesthetic.
What you see on the cards
Art Nouveau favours flowing plant-like forms and decorative detail over clean geometry. Oginski applies that to the Lenormand image set: each symbol sits within tendrils, blossoms and other organic elements that give the card a unified, painterly feel.
This is not a redesign of the symbolism. The meanings follow the classic Lenormand tradition. What changes is the visual presentation, not the content.
What you should know about the system
Lenormand reads differently from tarot. The cards are more direct, more combination-oriented and less open to personal interpretation. You read cards in pairs or larger spreads, where the combination carries the message. The multilingual guidebook included with this deck covers the basics.
This deck contains 37 cards, one more than the traditional 36. Which additional card is included is not specified in the available product information.
If you already work with Lenormand, this deck offers a familiar structure in a visually richer form. If you are new to the system, the guidebook gives you a starting point.

Questions we often get
What is the difference between Lenormand and tarot?
Lenormand uses 36 (here 37) cards with fixed, concrete symbols. Cards are typically read in combinations, where two or more symbols together form the message. Tarot has 78 cards and works more through archetypes and open interpretation. The two systems can sit alongside each other, but they work differently.
Which languages are included in the guidebook?
The guidebook is multilingual. The specific languages included are not listed in the publisher's product information.
