Most tarot sets contain one deck of 78 cards. This set contains 156. The Book of Shadows Tarot consists of two separate decks that complement each other: 'As Above' and 'So Below'.
'As Above' shows the spiritual world. The cards depict deities, elements, rituals and natural forces. It tells the story of the cosmos and the cycles of the seasons.
'So Below' translates that energy to the earth. Here you see people in everyday situations: relationships, choices, work, emotions. It shows how divine forces manifest in daily life.
How the two decks relate to each other
You can use each deck separately. 'As Above' for spiritual questions, 'So Below' for practical matters. But the strength lies in the combination.
Barbara Moore, the creator, designed both decks so that together they give a complete perspective. Draw one card from each deck and you see both the principle and the application. One deck gives the theme, the other shows how that theme plays out in your reality.
