The Vision Quest Tarot follows the standard 78-card structure but roots it entirely in shamanic tradition and the symbolism of the medicine wheel. The suit names are replaced throughout: Arrows and Wands for Fire, Jars and Bowls for Water, Feathers and Birds for Air, and Vegetables and Flowers for Earth. Court cards are named Daughter, Son, Mother and Father.

Gayan Sylvie Winter

Model, actress, author, shaman. In 1966, Sylvie began her modeling career in Frankfurt. In 1969, she moved to Munich. There, her career took off, with weekly covers on almost every magazine in Germany. Filmmaker Thomas Schamonie discovered her for a leading role in his film, "A Big, Grayish Blue Bird." Ms. Winter traveled halfway around the world. She worked regularly in New York for Eileen Ford, the most prestigious agency in the US, and photographed in Paris, London, Milan, and Munich. In 1974, she withdrew and went to Italy with her boyfriend. Through "Osho," her spiritual path began; she lived there for 5 years in the meditation center and took her spiritual name "Gaya" in 1975. In 1985, she moved to Santa Fe, New Mexico. Sylvie Gaya Winter rented a house made of wood and glass on a mountain at 2,700 meters and retreated to write. Interviews on radio and TV followed. Gayan Sylvie focuses on women and aims to strengthen their self-worth and self-confidence with her books and workshops.
